Hey, everyone! When you’re spending a busy day shopping and sightseeing, do you ever feel like you want to take a breather? Today I’m going to be introducing a high-quality ice cream parlor in Omotesando that’s perfect for times like that! It’s also very easy to find, so it’s a great place for meeting up with people!

Its name is Ben & Jerry’s, and it’s a first-class ice cream chain that’s loved around the world. Its ice cream is made to very high standards, using only free-range eggs, milk that uses no hormones or drugs whatsoever, and Fair Trade-certified cocoa and vanilla. (Apparently, it’s the first Fair Trade-certified ice cream in Japan!) The branch here in Omotesando is one of four Ben & Jerry’s “Scoop Shops” in Japan!

The storefront is wonderfully cute. Let’s have a look inside!

The names and the flavors are so exciting—Yoyoyoi Vanilla, made using Fair Trade-certified vanilla; Straw Bearry, with cute polar bear-shaped white chocolates! With limited Japan-only flavors like Hubchari Yoyoyomogi and Subaratea Time also available, it’s hard to know what to choose! There are also ice cream burritos, shakes, and sundaes! Today I decide to go for Ben & Jerry’s most popular flavor—Cherry Garcia!

You can get ice creams to go, but I head to the eat-in area at the back of the store...
