In this article, I am going to share with you guys about the "Holiday Buffet" event in the Indonesian Halal Restaurant called Cabe located in Meguro.
Maybe Indonesian food sounds just normal for you guys. But not for us, who are currently staying in Japan.
Just hearing someone say "Indonesian Food" will make us fantasize about the delicious food that we used to eat back in Indonesia.
We’re talking about serious homesick.
We tend to long for our mothers’ cooking. Just forget about the calories, sometimes you have to cheat and satisfy your desire.
One trivia for those who are studying Japanese.
Here in Japan, people call their mothers’ food おふくろの味 (ofukuro no aji), so it is not お母さんの味 (okaasan no aji).
Anyways, back again with the holiday buffet. Holiday Buffet is a monthly event at Cabe.
So do not worry about missing the buffet, you will always have next month!
But of course, where there is "All You Can Eat", people will gather.
You can try many kinds of Indonesian halal food, which is kinda difficult to find in Japan.
With ￥2000, I ate a lot of tasty food. Of course, I went for multiple rounds. Girls be dieting, but boys gotta eat, right? hahaha

The owner will continuously cook a new menu and serve it right away on that table.

2. Sate Ayam
3. Sate Ayam Pedas
4. Ayam Rica Rica
5. Acar
6. Tumis Kangkung
7. Kerupuk Udang
8. Emping
9. Nasi Goreng Petai
10. Mie Goreng
11. Perkedel Jagung
12. Es Buah
13. Kolak
14. Opor Ayam
15. Rawon
and so many others.
Teh Manis and Teh Mangga were also there, included in the buffet set.
You can also order soft drinks or alcoholic beverages like Bir Bintang, and so many others by paying an extra ￥500 / per bottle.
And the best part of the buffet is of course, Sambal! :))

I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and nice atmosphere. They also play nice music there.
