Boso Flower Line: A Chiba shoreline flower spot

The Boso Flower Line is a highway that runs along the shoreline along Chiba Prefecture's southern tip of the Boso Peninsula. Seasonal flowers can be found all over the highway, which is a famous drive and cycling course.

About Boso Flower Line

The Boso Flower Line refers to an area of about 46 km from Tateyama to Minami Boso. Flowers like nanohana flowers and snow daisy can be found everywhere coloring the side of the road. There are also picturesque places where on one side different flowers bloom. Even though each flower form has its own particular flowering season, most flowers peak between January and April.

Furthermore, since there is no railway in the region, the bus is the only transportation technique. Alternatively, cycling along the shoreline can be done by bike. By the manner, at stations, tourist information centers and Michi-no-Eki bicycles can be leased.
