Look at these shiny coins! How much do you think these coins sum up?

I’ve been waiting for so long so that I can share this story with you guys.
It was 2 years ago, when I discovered this saving bank at the 100 Yen Shop.
In Japan, we call this thing a Chokinbako.
There are words written on them,
“¥300.000 CAN BANK”
“GET DREAMS for ¥100.000”
and so many others.
Some of them come with cute designs of pups and kittens, a world map, the 10.000 Yen bill picture, etc.
At that time I was like, “You gotta be kidding me, ¥300.000 in a small bank like this. I’ll give it a try”

So yeah, just like that, whenever I got a ¥500 coins as change when buying things in the convinience store, supermarket, I hestitate on using them.
Instead, I started to fill the bank.

Just like this.

I choose the plastic one so that I could encourage myself to put more and more into it.

Days past, and here we are!
It’s finally full, I couldn’t put more into it. It’s time to count them up!

So yeah, the “Get Dreams!” word isn’t a lie after all.
Here’s a picture of ¥300.000 in coins for people who wonder. I reached the goal in 2 years!
Thinking of starting to save up?
You should! Set a goal! These kind of saving boxes will come in handy! It won’t cost you more than a mere ¥108.
I think I will buy a new one tomorrow.
Wanna compete with me on who can fill the saving bank faster?
