What is the first thing that comes across your mind when someone talks about Japan?
High Tech?
As we know, Japan is out of the most technically developed countries ever known.
Today I am going to talk about this high technology car parking system that you could only find in Japan.
It is called the underground or basement parking.
But this is not just a common basement, it is provided with special elevators to bring the car by itself to its parking lot.
P.S This parking we see in the image is only for people who have paid the monthly parking fee.
In yen it is about 55,000.
If you convert it into rupiah it will be 6,2juta!
Isn’t it expensive guys?
I was surprised when I was told about the price.
You must be thinking of how you are supposed to park the car, right?
First thing you need to do is to put your car inside the blue lift over there on the picture above, it will bring you to the basement.
After you reach the basement, it will look like this.
You see the round titanium platform on the ground.
It is used to turn your vehicle to whatever direction you want your car to face.
This is because you will have to put your car in another elevator where you need to turn the car 180 degrees, and there’s not enough space.
There you go, this is the second elevator where this gigantic elevator will bring your car to it’s parking lot down below this building.
Don’t worry, this elevator can put your car to its right place.
All you need to do is to press the right number to the small machine on the wall.
Isn’t it cool?

I wish we have one of these in Indonesia as well, it is a really good way to save space.
I think Japan made this because Japan really thinks about the efficiency of everything that they do, awesome thing!
