Hello! In this article we would like to introduce the expansive flower fields of Hokkaido that are somewhat reminiscent of Canada or New Zealand.
First is Furano, which is perhaps one of the most famous tourist destinations in Hokkaido.
Its lavender fields that can be enjoyed for both their appearance and smell are famous.
Because it is possible to use a ski lift to tour the Nakafurano Lavender Park, you can enjoy viewing the flower fields while feeling like you are floating through the air.

There is also the Farm Tomita, which not only features an attractive lavender field, but also the rainbow-colored Irodori Field that is a must-see.
It is so charming that it makes you feel as if you have strayed into a wonderland.

Another popular attraction is the sunflower field at Sunpillar Park in Nayoro City that also featured as the scene for a movie.
The car that was used in the movie is also on exhibit, so visitors can take pictures riding on this car in the sunflower fields.
While the sunflowers are very charming during the daytime, they also look fantastic at night when they are illuminated.

Finally, we would like to introduce the soba (buckwheat) fields in Horokanai Town.
While you can see many vast soba fields if you take a drive through this area, the Soba Flower Viewpoint features a nature trail that passes through soba fields and allows you to enjoy a view of soba flowers in all directions as seen in the photo.
In addition to looking at the soba flowers, this soba is of course delicious to eat.
We are sure that you will find the soba to be particularly delicious as you eat it while viewing the soba fields.

Hokkaido is a special place with an atmosphere that almost feels like it is not in Asia, and for this reason it is a wonderful place for which Japanese people have a longing.
We hope that you make a visit and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
