The most popular touristic spot among kids in Ôme is without hesitation Ôme Railway Park (Ôme tetsudô park) where you can learn and experience many thing about JR trains.

Ôme Railway Park is located on the top of a hill few minutes walking from Ôme station.



The place is divided in two parts, the building and a park.



In the building, there’s a huge diorama with small electric trains models running.

Kids are totally captivated!



The diorama is usually activated by an operator who also make vocal announces like in real trains.



At some designated time, children can also play with it.



On the walls, you’ll find tons of pictures and explanations about JR trains.



There’s also many train parts, models, and accessories to take pictures.





In the entrance you can even find a souvenir shop with train related goods.



Children can also have fun in simulators and small train rides.
