Hi, I am Maru-chan…. I’m crazy about trains!
Oh? Who’s that standing near the 500-series shinanksen? Who is this guy, dressed like the 500-series main car?
This guy is the JR Western Japan’s superhero, Kansenger! He visits us from the EEKO star to fight the evil Dark Minder group. On a typical day, he works as a train conductor named “Tabito Nishi.” However, when there are people who are being manipulated by the Dark Minder and acting poorly on the train, he transforms into Kansenger and fights the Dark Minders with his Pantagra sword.
Look look look!! Kansenger has arrived at the Shinkansen base!

And to commemorate Kansenger’s debut, my favorite 500-series shinkansen is getting a painting of Kansenger on its front car!
Did they draw him like the real thing?
Kansenger is happy with the results. He posed in front of the 500-series… so cool!!
Kansenger shows up at train-related events or at train stations for other events. Since he’s a Shinkansen Superhero, he’s popular among the kids. We’ll report on how he fights the Dark Minder in our next report!
