First thing i notice about Takigawa is prominent family name in Japan since i love samurai story and shogunate history like Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi or Tokugawa Ieyasu.
So i’m a bit interested in this restaurant because of its name. Once i have a chance to have dinner in Setiabudi One Building, i choose to have dinner at Takigawa.
For some reasons i only order sushi and sashimi. Therefore they have a lot of menus like donburi, yakiniku, okonomiyaki, etc.
Sashimi
They have several type of sashimi and i go with their chef recommendation, Monsa. It is contained of Salmon and Saba.
Surprisingly big slice and dice which is good ^_^
It’s so fresh
Nigiri Sushi
I love nigiri sushi anyway and i order Nigiri Sushi Nami. It’s combination platter of regular nigiri sushi.
Again, it’s surprisingly big ^_^ which is too big in my opinion but taste nice.
Pardon me, i’m too hungry and i realize i already sop it into sauce before taking picture
Fushion Sushi
Don’t get me wrong, i was eating with my friend so we order another fushion sushi since we are super ペコペコ です (peko-peko desu) ^_^
Since so many types of fushion sushi they have and they all are looked super tasty so my choice go to platter.
This menu is called Fushion Sushi Platter consist 15 pieces combination of Takigawa roll, California Roll, Hot & Sexy Roll, Caterpillar Roll and Dino Lover Roll.
So yummy and i’m impressed with their nice platting.
However it’s suprisingly small hahaha... But it’s fine since it’s already being compensated by Nigiri Sushi and Sashimi.
Nice service and quite fast
Typically Japanese restaurant, as you enter Japanese restaurants, you’re most often greeted “irrashaimase” which loosely translates to “welcome”. I love to hear that anyway ^_^
So since it’s almost closed so they ask whether we have another order instead telling us that they will close soon.
Also my hat goes to them since it’s rare to have fushion sushi to be served fast as they did in Takigawa. I don’t wait that long before my fushion sushi comes.
Overall i was full and satisfied. I can say the place is quite nice and next time i will definately come again and order another menu ^_^
The price is affordable too.
