Those selling taiyaki with “wings” and those without.

Kanda Daruma is a very famous taiyaki shop located in Jimbocho area in Kanda. 

There’s always many people queuing in front, buying taiyaki to eat immediately or take back home.

Kanda Daruma makes taiyaki with wings “hane” in Japanese. It means that dough with flowed on the side with baking the taiyaki on the hot plate is not removed.  

The result is a taiyaki with crispy corners called wings.

Two types of filling are available, traditional red bean paste and custard cream.

It’s so good to enjoy a just baked taiyaki with hot custard inside !

You can also buy some iced matcha green tea to drink while eating sweets !
