I love Japanese food and one of them is donburi; a rice bowl. As Indonesian, no matter i love another food but rice based menu is always the best.
Today i will share my experience having lunch at Donburi Ichiya – Ciputra World, Lotte Shopping Avenue. This is my first time eating at Donburi Ichiya so i’m looking forward to it so much.
Located at 3rd floor, it looks so-so from outside and nothing special inside. Anyway i was pretty lucky since i was arriving slighty before lunch time. So it was not really packed with customers.
Choose your own topping
Here we can choose what topping and sauce we would like to have. You are also able to choose the original one without topping or you can go along with chef recommendation combination.
Once i saw the menu, it wasn’t very long to choose since i found my ultimate fusion ^_^
I ordered menu number 4, Spicy Mayo Kaarage with Tamago Yaki. Sounds delicious, right?

For me, it exactly looks like Marugame Udon kitchen set up and how they manage the order. Well never mind, as long as it’s tasty and quick.
You can also add some side dish too. This time i skipped it since i ordered the regular than the small one. I should have order the smal one instead so i can have that too.
I was afraid i wouldn’t finish my food. Remember don’t waste your food.
Spicy Mayo Kaarage with Tamago Yaki, perfect combination
Voila.. quick serve and finally my donburi was done, my perfect donburi combination that recommended by Donburi Ichiya. Prepare to mouth-watering guys ^_^
Everything were perfect. Nice mayo sauce and delicious tamago yaki. I have never had such nice tamago yaki.
Can you see that so called tempting food? The karaage was good, so juicy and tender.
However my personal opinion that the rice was way too hard. I’m not sure that it’s their style or may they only had bad luck so the rice turned that way.
Overall i was full and satisfied ^_^
Right after i have done with my lunch, i could see the quite long queue. And i already know why.
