My roommate just got back from Hokkaido, the huge northern island of Japan.
A good roommate never forgets souvenirs, right? :)
So, I got to try these awesome sweets from Hokkaido.

1. 白い恋人 (shiroi koibito) / White Lover is a European style cookie, white chocolate sandwiched between langue de chat / cat tongue / kue lidah kucing.
Dark Chocolate version, Shiroi Koibito Black, is also available.
A box of 12 pcs costs ¥761 + tax.

2. ポテトチップチョコレート (potetochippu chokoreeto) / potatochip chocolate from ROYCE Japan, Hokkaido.
The name says it all. It's basically a normal potato chip dipped in chocolate sauce. No, they're not sticky. Despite its odd combination, the saltiness of the chips and the sweet chocolate compliment each other very well!

I once ordered chocolates, some other snacks, a bottle of champagne from ROYCE online for my sister that came to Tokyo, and the package arrived in 3 days.
You can also ask for ice packs. How awesome!
