What image do you have to Japanese trains? Packed trains in Tokyo, arrival just on time, or Maglev bullet trains? These are all true, the most crowd station in the world is Shinjuku Station in Japan. Train comes on time without a minute delay, Maglev bullet train runs at 603 kilometer/ hour. These are often taken up by media. But, on this article, I’d like to introduce some cool trains you probably have not seen before.
The collaboration was supposed to end on March of 2017. It received extraordinary reception from the generally public and because of that, the event was extended until spring of 2018.

Next train is C11-325 Steam locomotive! Altough steam locomotives are replaced by electric locomotive nowadays, there are many fans still now.
You can ride on the same typed train ‘Moka 14 Type’ at the stations between Shimodate (下館) Station in Ibaraki Prefecture and Motegi (茂木) Station in Tochigi Prefecture. It’s available in weekends (Sun, Sat) only.
If you want to ride on the steam locomotive, you need buy additional ticket at station (500yen). It’s busy in summer break, please check before you visit.

The third train I want to introduce is the Nankai 50000 series which is limited express operated by Nankai Electric Railway. This train was designed by well-known architect. The theme is ‘retro-future’, that’s why train has retro styling and futuristic.

This train actually has been collaborated with other companies, and often release special painted trains. The above color, blue is the regular color. However, on March of 2016, they collaborated with Star wars. Besides that, this cool train often transforms into special ones!
