Tokyo Midtown is a landmark located in Roppongi in the centre of Tokyo. Tokyo Midtown is a famous tourist spot

The biggest features of Tokyo Midtown are its “Greenery” and “Art”. The gardens are filled with more than 100 kinds of plants that show the transition of the four seasons, approximately 140 cherry trees and camphor trees, including those that are over 100 years old, have been transplanted from traditional Japanese gardens to create a beautiful scene of Sakuranamiki (row of cherry trees) in spring, capturing the hearts of many. Events are held during each season such as cherry blossom viewing in Spring, yukata and beer garden in Summer, yoga and reading on the green lawn in Autumn, and illumination in Winter.

There is also the Suntory Museum of Art and 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, sculptures and artwork of many types can be seen here and there, creating a harmony between city and art. Above all, the Godzilla sculpture that appeared during 2014-2015 has become a well-known piece.  

Shopping in UNIQLO, MUJI and Itoya

There are more than 130 shops in Tokyo Midtown. From high brands to “Tokyoish” select shops, interior shops, etc., there are various shops that many people, both locals and tourists, get excited about by just looking at them. UNIQLO is popular due to its wide variety of products.

If you are looking for souvenirs, then get stationery from MUJI or Itoya. And if you are looking for something Japanese, then you can find something at The Cothe Cover Nippon, Masashichi Shopping Street, Nihonbashi Kiya and Hashicho. There are so many options that it wouldn’t be hard for you to find something wonderful.
