Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi Prefecture

Japan has many other beautiful flowers other than cherry blossoms. One of these is wisteria as shown below.

These flowers are a light purple color, and tourists often go to see them.

Lots of Thai people know about the Kyushu region as a famous location for wisteria in Japan, but in fact, there is also one close to Tokyo.

It is the Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi Prefecture.

The highlight here is the giant tunnel made from wisteria.

Not everybody knows about it, so you can take your time and freely take photos of various places.

Wisteria is normally thought of as being light purple, but there are also other colors, such as light pink, resembling cherry blossoms, and white and green too.

Even if you miss seeing the wisteria from April to May, there are other flowers to see here too all year round.

In winter, there are illuminations, and in particular, the Christmas illuminations are the most beautiful.

Everyone can enjoy it here, whether young or old, male or female, as a family or with friends.

The entrance fee is different depending on the time of year, but it costs around 900 to 1700 yen for adults and 500 to 800 yen for children.

It takes around 70 minutes to access it from Tokyo, to see a dream world of flowers.
