Okuhida Yakushi no Yu Honjin

Yakushi no Yu Honjin, located in Shin Hirayu Onsen. In this 50 years old Ryokan (Japanese style inn), you can gaze through the beautiful sceneries of the four seasons and also taste the Hida beef and other local ingredients. 

In the Genkan (entrance), you can see the Shouya (a mark of the village administrator building in the Edo period) that has been relocated there to give it a very Japanese-like feel.  In contrast to that, you can see that there is a huge chandelier attached, triggering the feel of the combination between East and West in a very retro Japanese atmosphere. 

It has numerous antiques and water ink-based painting displayed in and around, giving it a feel as if it is an art gallery.
